OUR STORY

 

Founded in 1999 by Steve Simon, Vintage Design, LLC was established as a small, service oriented residential design and construction company.  Client focused and quality driven, we strive to provide projects that are sensitve to both historical integrity and budget.  It is our understanding of historical architecture that sets our work apart from our competitors in the industry.

 

Appropriate scale, proportion, and subtly executed details are the hallmarks of historic architecture.  While these attributes provide the basis for our work, they do not define our design style, they provide inspiration.  Much of our work, whether a renovation or an entirely new home, is rooted in historic design with the embellishment of unique, original detailing or interpretations that compliment the overall aesthetic of the project.   

 

The passion for our work does not end with the completion of the design process and the construction drawings.  We are also general contractors and we build the projects we design. Thorough planning, attentive construction management and long term relationships with highly skilled tradespeople creates a flow to this process that allows the original design concepts to come to fruition in built form.
